i want apologize for late updating of this blog cause my room keep on facing electric break down and the wireless here had some probloem. So, finally i can upload it.
4/10 ( monday)
LOMPATAN APEX KE 2012
BIG
(Bamboo Interest Group)
We don't have any studio for today, however there was a talk about BIG by our lecturer Encik Wan B. Beside students from RUS 10,there were other audiences from other schools like PROF FUN HOONG from physics, PROF MOHD.ASRI from chemistry and etc.
The BIG holds the principle of social, economy, and environment principles, and 7 apex points ( future, uniqueness, sustainability, humanity, universality, change and sacrifice.)And interestingly, bamboo naturally fulfills all the first six points. Only the seventh, that's up to us.

After the talk by Encik Wan B, Mahram was invited to the front to share her changes after gone through so many projects in HBP. Honestly speaking, not only she changed, i believed that everyone changed mentally and physically also. Mind shift, HBP really had shifted our minds to think for better futures.
Q&A session...
There were so many challenging questions had been asked.
From PROF. FUN HOONG KUN,
'' How can we get so many bamboos? What are the challenges faced when cutting down the bamboos?''
According to Encik Wan B, the plantation of bamboo in Malaysia is around 10% of the entire forest. Of coz we may face some challenges such as snake, scorpion and other dangerous creatures.
'' How long does the bamboo takes to grow?''
It takes about 3 to 4 years time to reqach their maturity.
''What is the contribution of this project to APEX?''
All we need to do is to produce a better tomorrow, a better future. We need to be more sensitive and conscious to the nature around us. Don't wait for others, we are the one who need to stand up now!
''What if other disasters happen on 2012 instead of flood?''
''What are the applications of bamboo in medical field?''
''How long will the bamboo last without any preservation?''
Laboratories exam and research need to be done .

my question is why bamboo is selected instead of other materials?
Because of its strong material and sustainability..
@@@----------------------------------------------------------------------------@@@

Bamboo is chosen for this project because it can satisfy the 7 APEX points.
1. The future strongest building material& eco-friendly
2. unique features
3. Most sustainable resource
4. Decrease poverty world wide
5. Survived the atomic blast and became the first re-greening
6. reverse the effect of global warming
7.Commitment.

Talk about commitment, bamboo naturally fulfills all the first six points. Only the seventh, that's up to us. so, What can we do actually? We should do SOMETHING in order to counterpoise.

Recently we had just finished our floating dome.

Now we are doing the biggest project ever, that is to build a gigantic, 2 stories high ,8 meter tall DOME, which act as IBU.

I discover that co-operations from everyone are so vital! Some of them just like to complain this complain that... some of them just do their work nonchalantly. What i try to tell is, don't be a black sheep that spoilt everything at the end.

Think yourselves , is complaining can help you complete your work or not? NO definitely!! so stop that ! united as one... there is nothing impossible if we stick to one, act as one. Stop thinking about yourselves, stop to be selfish.Give all your efforts in, so that we will success at the end, if not, we will just change something possible to impossible.

Therefore ,we must put our hands together to prepare for 2012 coming, bah kata pepatah ' sediakan payung sebelum hujan.' which means get ready your umbrella before it starts to rain.
