Project 9B...

After the 300 word abstract, here comes the 1500- word paper.

The title is remain the same:

''Time for talk alone is dying;we need to unite, share,serve & see change.''

After the discussion with my group members, i had been asked to write something about this topic by using musical view in architecture field to achieve unity, share ,serve, and see change.

For me, one approach is to consider architecture through the language of music.

So many words can be used to consider the quality of music: tone, texture, density,vibration , etc.

We can translated the movement of a classical music piece into architecture form. Architects express their feeling through design; musician though music.

Stop talking alone! There is no much time for one man show. Single voice can’t pursue things to move onward until success . Ideas from everyone are needed desperately , to figure out a better solution, for brighter future. It just like an orchestra, combination of every single tunes can create a wonderful, beautiful music, which can trigger audiences’ senses. Same as architects, we should share together, integrate all the thoughts , conclude an idea that can convince people we can change the world.

Besides, architecture is music in space, as it is a frozen music. Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.

We are here to serve people, what we can actually do , is try to modify the architecture’s path in reaching way deeper into human psychic than any other art form. If we manage to do that, architecture can be the one that soothes the soul, stimulates the mind, stirs the heart or even bring joy in a life.

Even a simple design can transform the thinking or even worldview of others if it contains insights and revelations which are helpful to the journey of another. We all are each others’ teachers.

BIG Dome assembly

Although we fail on few areas...some sections got problems..

but all this can be fixed...

frustrating...disappointing...giving up..

Tolenrance...co-operation...teamwork are emphasized...

everyone...

Full power...Full strength...

We will create better tomorrow...

music can motivate ppl to do things..

music can change the atmosphere...

music can calm ppl down..

i jz hope one day... music can be fully utilized to create a harmony and peaceful world.

without quarreling...

no more war...

no more politic issues...

no more enemy...

only music...

Though we seem innocent, we, the aspiring architects have our own voice.

We share different visions, serve different life purposes. One thing we believe brought us together, the urge to see change.

No man is an island, and no man stands alone.

long time didn't touch my blog since last assignment was done..
okay...new assignment...
hbp students will going to build a 8 meter tall dome...real dome....
